Manisha Kapoor

- the bad boy of the second generation, Kaurav was the reason the Guru ji placed the curse on Chandra Mahel, he married Ankita, who was actually plotting against him, his son is Anirudh whom he never saw because he too was killed off by Kartik just before the first leap on the show.

Ankita Sharma Agnihotri Goenka

- one of the most loved characters of the show, Ankita married Kaurav even though she knew about his tryst with Manisha but the family didn’t know at the time that she was preparing to destroy them with the help of Tamanna, however, Ankita changes her mind after a lot of convincing from Sangeeta – in the first leap Ankita is shown as being distant from her son Anirudh and later admits that she’s afraid of losing him like she lost Kaurav – after the entry of her Bahu Sanskriti, Ankita finds companionship with Aindri’s doctor, Ruhan Goenka, a fact that Sanskriti uses to manipulate events that lead to Ankita’s departure from Chandra Mahel, but not before she and Ruhan are married – Ankita reappears during Poornima’s visit to Bangalore and she also helps expose Sanskriti – even though she is no longer a Bahu of Chandra Mahel, Ankita is treated like a daughter of the house and can’t let go of her ties to it, this is much to the dismay of her husband Ruhan – Kartik requests Ankita to stay and help him with things at Chandra Mahel after the deaths of Tamanna and Rudrakshi but due to the pressure from Ruhan, Ankita convinces Kartik to marry Urvashi before she goes back to Bangalore – the character has reappeared in the second leap just in time to save her grandson from being thrown out of Chandra Mahel.

Ruhan Goenka

- he is Aindri’s doctor who met and fell in love with Ankita and then married her to spare her from the shame Anirudh was subjecting her to, he is madly in love with her but over time has developed a lack of understanding toward Ankita’s connection to Chandra Mahel and why she can’t leave it alone.

Naren Chopra

Vidhushi Chopra

- she is one of Kamini Agnihotri’s twin daughters and married Naren Chopra, in the beginning she joined forces with Manorama and Mahima to keep Shubhavi from getting close to Dhananjay, a fact that lead the sisters to not speak with each other for many years, however at a later stage, Vidhushi turns on Shubhavi when she discovers that her sister has stooped to new lows to get Dhananjay back from Mahima, at which point she breaks ties with her, she also begged Kartik to bring Ashvini out of jail to help nurse Naren back to health and she maintains a close relationship with her son Vayu.

Dhananjay Arora

Shubhavi Thandav Arora

- after her marriage to Dhananjay, Shubhavi was very happy until a horrible tragedy befell her daughter Vanshita in London, Shubhavi was further distraught when her half sister Mahima plotted to steal her husband away from her, so in response to this, Shubhavi repaid Mahima by having her raped just like Manorama had Vanshita raped – during the time she was mentally traumatizing Mahima, the family found out abut it and threw her out, after which she disappeared only to be discovered later in Benraras, when she returned to Delhi however, Shubhavi went after Dhananjay again and finally got back together with him, much to the family’s dismay.
